Who We Are
Simply put, we at Rancho del Rey Academy are a collective of families that have chosen to formally educate our children at home. Although each family has unique reasons for choosing to homeschool, as a group we believe that homeschooling allows for unparalleled opportunities to strengthen family bonds and teach valuable life lessons while providing an excellent atmosphere for academic and spiritual growth. As Academy members, we choose to share our time, talents and experiences to help educate and strengthen both homeschooling parents and students.
Rancho del Rey Homeschool Academy is part of Rancho del Rey Church, located at 1740 La Costa Meadows Drive in San Marcos, CA, near the intersection of Rancho Santa Fe and Melrose Dr., just outside the community of San Elijo Hills. Academy parents are not required to attend Rancho del Rey Church in order to take part in school activities.
Purpose
As followers of Jesus Christ, we long to model and incorporate his truths into the precious time we spend with our families. Our ultimate goal is to raise children that truly love God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength (Matt 22:37; Mark 12:30; Luke 10:27). Therefore, while Academy activities are of the highest academic excellence, they remain Christ-focused and Christ-centered in all things so that students can constantly be guided toward the master teacher himself, Jesus Christ.
